Mr. Andreas Ringvall is 40 year old from Sweden has been arrested in relation to the stabbing Mr. Robert Hollick aged 43 from New Zealand, was allegedly stabbed three times in his neck and back early this morning and was pronounced dead at a hospital
A quarrel took place between Mr Hollick and Ringvall after Ringvall’s girlfriend played with Hollick’s dog inside a bar.
Mr. Ringvall sent his girlfriend, Dao Pholutsa age 26 back to his room and then returned to the bar in the Thai beach resort of Pattaya and attacked Mr. Hollick with a knife.
Local residents held Mr. Ringvall and his Thai girlfriend until police arrived,
Mr. Ringvall has since been charged with murder.
Mr. Hollick owned Top Dog personnel, a company which provided earthmoving workers to Western Australian mines.
His elderly mother was shocked to hear of his death, and said she hated him being over there.
